Cindy Vida is an artist and author who lives in West Auckland with her much loved family and cat Milly. She is passionate about the creative arts and enjoys painting, music, nature and the simple things in life.

Cindy is a woman who has risen up as a faith-filled warrior in the midst of trauma, depression, and untold challenges, yet her story testifies to a life of deep intimacy with God and his supernatural provision.

She loves to share her testimony and explore new places, and is a lover of people and community, but for her there is no place like home. Her favourite moments are those spent in solitude with a coffee in the presence of God.

Cindy’s debut book is her powerful memoir, Walking Through the Fire, and she has an upcoming book called, Nourish about her journey with Nourish Garden. Cindy is available for speaking engagements as well as garden consultancy work using Nourish gardening principles for community projects. You can contact her through the form at the bottom of this web page.

The Covering

Something really special happened to me the other day... As a solo mum I struggle sometimes to make ends meet and while browsing through an op shop I discovered a beautiful near-new queen-sized bed cover. A lovely mid-grey and plush in soft matte velvet.
