Janet Natta

Janet Natta is a financial planner and owner of Smart Money Advice, based between Hamilton and Cambridge. She has worked in financial services all of her career. Janet started with a professional trustee company, moving to a bank and then into an insurance company before starting work for a small financial planning practice, which she bought just before the Global Financial Crisis in 2008! Her husband kept telling her that it could only get better from that point and he was right!

Janet is passionate about financial literacy and seeing people set free from worry about money. In 2022 she published her powerful money management book for Kiwi Christians, Kingdom Keys for Building Prosperity. The whole purpose of that journey is to help Christians to get a handle on their money – and hopefully in doing so, there will be more funding for the church in general because people will be better stewards.

Janet became a Christian at the age of 33. The first book that she was advised to read (other than the Bible) was, Too Busy Not to Pray by Bill Hybels which set her up for decades of intercessory prayer and hearing God’s voice.  She has been married to Gary for over 30 years and they have 2 young adult children, Sarah and Cameron.
