The Light of the World

With a new year around the corner and another decade passes, time moves on. As age races towards you, life can become more and more interesting.

Ten short years ago, I was at work, newly promoted to the top tutor position, and life was good. But, one thing we must always remember, don’t get too comfortable in the work we are doing for the Lord. Since then, my health took a different direction, as did my life.

Now, these years later, two books published, and three awards, who would have thought this would happen?  When I look back, I could see myself doing many things, and I have, but write was never one of them. The Lord has given me much experience, and now, He seems to want those events on paper to be shared.

The Lord is in control, and now He has had me take up the pen once more, and a third book is being written. Watch this space. In the mean time, there is Hanukkah to teach about, the Feast of Dedication, the one our Lord attended, and then declared who He was.

John 10:23-30. He tells them what they asked, but they don’t like the answer. There is a lesson for us all in this. We should never ask God about something, and then not like what He says. Because if we ask, and then don’t act, what is the Lord going to do about our inaction?

Matthew 25:14-27, Jesus, is not only the reason for the season, but is the reason for life itself.
